Jancon offers green auditing of processes at the construction level – with proactive solutions to help our client’s meet and exceed compliance where possible.

We also partner with design firms in order to make recommendations on how to make the project more sustainable before it even starts.

On-site personnel and Best Practices.

Jancon works with subtrades to ensure that we divert the highest percentage of waste from a project to recyclers as a common business practice.

We repurpose and reuse building materials from our jobs, for example millwork is removed in such a way that we can donate it or make use of it elsewhere – we also work with recycling companies for carpeting materials, drywall, and ceiling materials. These practices mean a large percentage of waste does not end up in our landfills.

Additionally, Jancon job sites do not allow single-use containers on our projects, and we encourage all of our vendors and employees to bring reusable containers on our job sites. Practices that encourage environmental sustainability from the beginning of a project, all the way through to the end allow us to see a measurable impact in our sustainability practices and waste management.
