Our success is built on the dedication to customer service and quality  workmanship that our employees deliver, and we wanted to show our appreciation for their work. This year, Jancon hosted an Employee Appreciation event on November 2, 2019 at a beautiful lake front cottage on Lake Simcoe.

The event was attended by all staff, including their partners and significant others. Lake Simcoe is a stunning location and everyone enjoyed a fun afternoon of speciality catered foods with feature dishes representing the various countries of origin for all employees.

Owner Paul and his wife, Christine, hosted the event and ensured all whom attended either had transportation home or accommodation for the night.

In addition to the superb catering, amazing and interactive entertainment was provided by America’s Got Talent Finalists and Penn & Teller Fool Us Winner “The Sentimentalists”, featuring the mind-reading sensation of Chris Doyle (Mysterion) and Steffi Kay.

A member of staff shared his thoughts on the event:

“I have to say that yesterday’s party was by far the best job-related party, event I have ever been to in my entire career.  It was the prefect combination of food, entertainment, location and setup.   It very much allowed for everyone including wives, husbands, boy and girlfriends of the staff to feel very comfortable and interact in a great setting.   Well done and I very much feel it brought everyone together in way that was a very productive team building experience. We all consider ourselves part of the Jancon family and this event yesterday truly delivered on that message.   It was great seeing everyone socializing having fun, relaxed and joking around.”
